You are not enrolled in this course. Have you ever wondered how buildings withstand the forces of nature?  This course covers the basic design principles required for structures to withstand forces found in nature.

No prior engineering experience is required.  Join us to learn ways to design structures to withstand nature.

All the items needed to complete the projects must be purchased separately. You will need to obtain a pillow and a magnet as well to complete some of the optional hands-on activities.

What's Needed - Feathers, Rope, Straws, Cotton Balls, Piece of Felt, Various weighted balls like golf ball, rubber jack ball, glue gun and sticks, spoons, paratrooper, paper clips, rubber bands, notecards, marbles, a pencil or pen, various sizes of pom moms, safety glasses, a timer, and craft sticks
